Growth curve parameters and characteristics of 56 heads of female Jersey cattle from South Korea were estimated using wither height data. Growth curve functions for wither height according to Gompertz, von Bertalanffy, Logistic, and Brody models were respectively. An inflection point of wither height was not observed during the growth period of female Jersey cattle calculated by Gompertz, von Bertalanffy, and Logistic models parameters. The estimated residual mean squares were 14.189, 14.083, 14.730, and 14.011, the estimated correlation coefficients were 0.97146, 0.97167, 0.97037, and 0.97182 for Gompertz, von Bertalanffy, Logistic, and Brody models, respectively. Based on the results, we concluded that the Brody model was the most appropriate compared to Gompertz, von Vertalanffy, and Logistic models.
