This experiment was conducted to compare the effects of Sasa quelpaertensis extract-added feed on pork. S. quelpaertensis was extracted and mixed with feed for the experimental group (PF), and regular feed was fed for the control group (PNF). They were raised in the same place and under the same conditions for 30 days,and after slaughter, the sirloin was collected and used as an experimental sample. The experiment measured antioxidant activity (TEAC, FRAP), fatty acids and amino acids. In TEAC, an antioxidant test, PF was found to be approximately two times higher, and there was no significant difference in FRAP. There was no difference in fatty acid and amino acid content, but unsaturated fatty acids were high, followed by oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and linoleic acid. The average amino acid content was in the following order: glutamic acid, aspartic acid, lysine, leucine, and arginine. Thus, it was confirmed that the antioxidant activity was higher in pigs fed feed containing S. quelpaertensis extract.
